THE FEELS OF FINISHING YOUR BOOK BEFORE HOME

Kuten aiemmin tänään kirjoitin, kävin Richmondissa tapaamassa ystävääni. Koska emme ole tunteneet vielä kauaa, ei herra ole oppinut kuinka kävely kanssani voi olla tuskaista kun koko ajan pitää pysähtyä kuvaamaan. Richmondista ei siis ole kuvia kuin yksi. Jos näitä aurinkoisia päiviä vielä riittää niin matkustan Richmondiin uudestaan kuvaamaan (ja jäätelölle!).
Kotiin palasin metron ruuhka-aikaan päänsäryssä ja kirjakin loppui kesken. En kuitenkaan valita, Lontoo on rakkautta.

As I mentioned earlier today I went to Richmond to see my friend. And because of the fact that we haven't known each other or long he hasn't learned how walking with me might be painful as I need to stop to take pictures all the time. That's why I have only one picture of Richmond. If there's more of these sunny days I'll travel to Richmond again to take photos (and to eat ice cream!). 
I came back home by tube, during rush hour and I finished with my book too early. Still not complaining, London is love.

IF YOU'RE CURIOUS, LONDON'S AN AMAZING PLACE

Hei siellä! Eilen vietin päivän kotikulmilla metrolakon takia, mutta ei se kävelykään huonoa tee. Päädyin North Finchley'n ja kävin Waterstonesilla ostamassa vähän lisää luettavaa. Ennen kotimatkaa istahdin Coffee Republicin ikkunapöytään chai latteni kanssa. Illalla pohdittiin iskän kanssa skypessä sitkä kuinka elämäni muuttui kokonaan kun muutin Lontooseen, nykyään oikeasti teenkin päivisin jotain.
Nyt syön puuroni loppuun ja suuntaan kohti Richmondia!

 Hey there! Yesterday I spent time nearby because of the strike but walking is pretty good also. I ended up in North Finchley and stopped by at Waterstones to buy some more to read. Before walking home I sat down at Coffee Republic with a chai latte. In the evening I was thinking with my dad via skype about how my life has changed completely when I moved to London. Nowadays I actually do something during the days. 
Now I'll finish my porridge and head to Richmond!

DREAMCATCHER

Olen aina pitänyt keskiviikoista, eikä tämä päivä ollut poikkeus. Aamu oli kylmä ja sateinen, mutta aamupalan jälkeen kävin kuumassa kylvyssä ja päätin lähteä bussilla Brent Crossin ostoskeskukseen. Sain tuhlauttua muutamankin tunnin kauppoja kierrellen, mutta suuntasin kotiin ajoissa, sillä en tahtonut istua metrolakon takia täynnä olevassa bussissa. Bussista noustuani kävin pettymässä Tescossa, kun Skandinavialaisen leivät maistiaiset osoittivat, ettei se ole lähelläkään sitä mitä kotisuomessa saa. Ruisleipää saa lähettää tähän suuntaan, kiitos.

 I have always liked Wednesdays and today was no exception. The morning was cold and rainy but after breakfast I had a hot bath and decided to take the bus to Brent Cross shopping centre. I spent even a couple of hours walking through the stores but headed home early because I didn't want to sit in a full bus due to the tube strike. When I got off the bus I went to Tesco to be disappointed for the Scandinavian bread tasted nothing like the bread back home in Finland. Every delivery of rye bread is accepted, thank you.
